The Youngest of Five
If life goes the way it should
I’ll be the one left behind
Watching each of you go
I’ve said farewell to one
She was only thirty
And far too young
But knowing I’ll likely face
Three more goodbyes
I feel unsettled by a lonely truth
None of you will be there
When it’s my turn to leave
