The Yellow Shine

The Yellow Shine Bright nevermore Shines beyond life- Endless rows of nowhere Bring me to yesterday- Anthems, long dead, Clip memories, while Shades of green and yellow Paralyze what once was free- I can’t change the purple sundown, And tears won’t bring salvation- Still, the sweet smell of savannah summers Fragrant my pictures, in locked boxes- The fragrance still brings yellow sunshine to My heart- Closer to the light, Closer….to the light
