The Yellow and the Red

Two colors stand on Capitoline Hill
- the gold, the purple of the Roman era -
flag that recalls the ancient pomp
but nowadays the Yellow is for the sun
shining on the beauty of the seven hills
the Red is for the heart
of the Eternal City and its friendly folk.

hello again you can edit your poem by going to member area on the left as you open up poetry soup. Click on it and scroll down until you see my contest entries then click on edit and add your name at the bottom and click okay or update....hope this helps and you can also TURN ON YOUR SOUP MAIL from that same area ...go to your profile ...and click on yes if you wish to have soup mail turned on...
