The Year of Quadrants

The beginning of Experience
starts with proper planning
By:Wiggon Galgrinner

From zones to zone
they looked to find
if planting olives would
be profitable
the olive tree
or Olea Europaea
she spoke in an
almost singing voice
Sounding so happy and confident
Olea europaea
I asked her could such
pollinate itself
she frowned and asked me why I asked
such a question
he said I noticed you spoke the olive tree instead
of saying olive trees
no,no I wish to plant
as many as affordability
will allow.
He smiled and wished her good luck.
she continued talking
Hand cranked mills and
oak barrels
I looked into using a hydrolytic press
or finding some kind gentlemen and fello's
to band together and sort the differences
and collaborate to create
a man powered press
do you know anyone with such knowledge
looking to the past to create a future
is a sound idea the gentlemen said
this startled me I didn't
know there had been others around
I looked toward him as he continued speaking
Novel he said novel indeed
modern extraction seems expensive
mats and presses sound much more
affordable or Two Oxen and a
rotating mortal and postal like
rig, huh?
they both smiled and wished the woman well
and promised to
contact her
if they ran across someone with
the knowledge of the ancients
