The Wrong Recipient
Typing out this message to my friend
I look it over and then press send
Go about my business waiting for a reply
No response and a couple hours have gone by
I check to see if I sent the text
It was sent so now I'm perplexed
Why haven't I heard back yet
Did they see it and then forget
I find myself getting irritated
I'm getting annoyed and aggravated
So I check my phone one more time
Then I read the recipient line
Oh no I sent it to my mom
Maybe that's why I got no response
She saw it and probably got embarrassed
How could I have been so careless
That text for her was not meant
Would never want her to see that pic I sent
I guess I should be a little more alert
When sending a text trying to flirt
