The World Went Silent

The World Went Silent

The world went silent.
A silence so deep, so profound ...
my every cell, every atom, every intention,
joined this silence.
It could not be otherwise.

Ti amo, si ti amo ...
A whisper in my soul ...
Not my whisper, no ...
The whisper of another.
Who?

The world went silent.
A silence so intense, so loud ...
my mind, my heart, my soul simply stopped,
to wait, breathless now.
It could not be otherwise.

Ti amo, si ti amo ...
A whisper in my soul ...
Not my whisper, no ...
The whisper of another ...
Who?

The world went silent.
A silence so rich, so eloquent ...
the All, of me, began to dance, reaching,
to touch, the All of you.
It could not be otherwise.

Ti amo, si ti amo ...
A whisper in my soul ...
Not my whisper, no ...
The whisper of another ...
Who?

Whisper in my soul ...
I wait.
I wait.
