The World Is Small Compared To This

The World is Small Compared to This

Advancing in the way an aboriginal choir
passes a word in a platter of sunlight
moving nature with a wind of thought

The world is small compared to this

Pagan breathing sticks eating earth
palms become rocks with the cores of trees
perimeters of imagination to the pulse of stone
living in the life of birth
breast womb oceans nurturing
encompassing eternity minutely

Atom seed body of mind that passes the platter of unity
like water like fire air and earth
native the mover of the way

is you

tripping on dust and grass and walking the ashes of decades
walking through your own body

Instinctual messenger to the will of life
reach out through plants from stars and forgotten heights
feel the body
speak then
all shall know your name
rise then
all shall know your place
seek out this consequence of being
has become
the passage of your soul
