The World Is In Trouble Because

The world is in trouble because, We have journalists, Who know the answers, before they ask the questions? The world is in trouble because, We have preschool teachers, Who don't like reading. The world is in trouble because, We have politicians, Who didn't come to office via a party. The world is in trouble because, We have instructors, Who were never given instructions. The world is in trouble because, We have Doctors, Who never leave their premises. The world is in trouble because, We have contractors, Who make money by contracting out. The world is in trouble because, We have people producing goods, Who don't know how to count. The world is in trouble because, We have all but forgotten, Who, where, what and how to.

Hello David!! Best Greetings to you there in NZ, from me, here in Germany!! I see that you've been very industrious and quite prolific with all the poetry you've been writing and posting. I most certainly agree with you in every respect, that is, "The World is in Trouble." You have described the "state of things," very well. I have been very busy getting my new book of poetry, "Reflections in the Mirror," (595 pages) published and released to the reading public during January, 2021. Cheers, Gary

Thanks Gary. Great to hear from you and good luck with your book. I cling to the belief that that poetry can play a part in getting the world on an even keel again and if not well it is a safe way of letting off steam and keeps some of us sane. Either way I am sure it touches lives for the better. Also it is a good tool to further cause of literacy. Take care David in NZ
