The World Is Drowning In Hatred
There's a saying we all know
Sharing is caring-- you will show
How much love is deep inside
If everyone had only tried
To follow this one simple rule
We would not be sinking in a pool
Of hatred and brutality
Open up your eyes and see
We need to take a step back
When kindness drove us on a track
That didn't stop in anger town
When did we get turned around
From a place so long ago
When we saw our neighbors grow
Into friends and family
Living free and happily
Taking care of one another
Like we were sisters and brothers
Now the path this world is spinning
Is losing all of the winning
Spirit that was shown before
Prejudice started up a war
That is not going to end
Until one by one we bend
And lose all this buried anger
Putting everyone in danger
