The World

The world is not a weight we could shoulder
But concern cannot help but grow bolder
As the warmth grows colder

And so I pursue a well punctuated prayer
For God to make me discern what is ours to share
And what is mine to spare

Trends and events beget to great multiple
But life is governed by few a principle
That are all together Godly and simple

Its not our many wants but our true need
Its not our rights and privileges but our duty indeed
Its not our variant methods but Christ's lead
