The World

I’ve seen the world in black and white, all distinct no shaded gray, Where good is well and evil dwells in all souls led astray. I’ve seen the world in vivid colors, robust reds, pinks and greens, It seems that these release a peace of which all people need. In myself I find neither, but in you I see them all, My empty husk, my hollowness has been breached and left appalled. By Happiness, Fulfillment… Jealousy and Rage. Amplified by Loneliness, too sick to disengage. I’ve seen the world in black and white all distinct no shaded grey, In time my love; the time will come, when hearts will find their way.
