The World

Our world is our home, when will we care?
Greed and industry destroying the air.
Time is growing short, change is needed.
Our job was to protect and care, we never heeded.

On the field of manly endeavors, eyes need to open.
All need to do their part, get into the motion.
The more we pollute and kill, it's time we loose.
Get up off that easy chair, awake from ignorance's snooze.

No one knows the future, it is ours to secure.
For future generations need to live somewhere.
When will the human race learn, the time is now.
Unite, find the solutions, quit squabbling somehow.

Our world is our home, when will we care?
Greed and industry destroying the air.
Time is growing short, change is needed.
Our job was to protect and care, we never heeded.
