The Words Spoke

I sat under the heavens
As I counted every star
My mind among moonbeams
Shining upon all my scars

How they lifted up my  spirit 
Thoughts of you and I tonight
Floating on those moonbeams
Engulfed within their light

Angels began stroking lyres
Beautiful music they made
A song that was for you and I 
stardust soon began to cascade

That's when starlight began to sing
A melody that twinkled up above
A song that sang of feelings 
The words spoke of true love
