The Wordless Voice
Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: The Wordless Voice
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
I am
the wordless
voice
that speaks
in the wind -
A white dove
that fly's free -
I am the flow
of the mighty rivers
that wed
to the sea -
You have witnessed me
roll with the waves
across the ocean -
You have seen
the sunlight that
shines through
the trees,
and the tide
that rise's and
fall's
from five oceans
born from
One mystic sea -
God....
He spoke to me....
"The wind bloweth
where it listeth,
and thou hearest
the sound thereof,
but canst not tell
whence it cometh,
and wither it goeth:
So is every one
that is born
of the spirit."
The wind, river, moon,
and sea,
live's inside my spirit -
I am the wordless
voice
that speaks
in the wind -
