The Word

A popular Biblical quote
Researchers now claim no one wrote
It may be a fable
That Cain convinced Abel
The past tense of smite is just "smote!"

:) Witty write, Rico! The original Bible changed over the years. Emperor Constantine had passages he didn't like removed. Wish I could read the original! Of course, you are an "original" and creative writer, my friend, and I look forward to your limericks! Hugs, Carolyn

It matters not whether it is the Bible, Qu'ran, or Talmud, as they all reflect the "us against them" God of the Middle East. Over 2,000-years of history clearly establish there can never be peace nor harmony where people worship an intolerant god. Aloha! Rico

Hello Rico ... there's quite a lot of quotes from historical times that could be questioned but who can prove anything - thanks Rico - Lindsay
