The Wonder of Trees
From a tiny seed, a seedling grows
with hopes of becoming a tall and
sturdy tree.
Over time, with love and great care,
a beautifully vibrant tree is visible
for all to see
The lusciously green foliage spreads
out East, West, North and South,
working tirelessly in the hot Sun,
miraculously cooling, filtering and
purifying the air.
In parks lined with multicoloured
trees, adults and children play
games and sports and, in the
excitement, scream and shout
with laughter everyone sees and
hears.
The thick layers of its canopy
provide shade and shelter for many
creatures from rain, wind and storm.
Its vast selection of trunks, branches, leaves, and twigs has invaluable uses for birds, beasts and man in some way, shape or form.
Changes in the Season bring delight
with brightly coloured leaves, and
the sweet-scented fragrance of
flowers touches the heart, Spirit
and Soul.
The benefits of trees to the mind
and body are like medicine and
therapy. They rejuvenate and
refresh, leaving you feeling a little
less old and more in control.
From the moment we enter to the
moment we leave the world, we
depend on trees.
Oh, what a remarkable thing it
would be if we could each plant a
single tree.
