"Build thee more stately mansions, O my soul." One of my favorite images of the nautilus by Shelley - a beautiful and profound image, Greg, as we spiral into life and its depths. Congratulations on your win with your poignant poem my friend. All the best! A fav for me.

Greg, I loved reading your poetic journey into the realm of wonder, counting petals and admiring a shell. I also liked the alliterations of line 4. Congrats on your win ~ John

Dali used the spiral in many of his works as did some other masters. It is one of our world's natural wonders. There is beauty in that, same as the beauty in poetry. Thank you for recognizing it.
