The Wonder of a Smile

Faces, familiar and strange
Imitate a smile
Smile at everyone, it does wonders
Smile as you greet strangers
It will brighten up their day, and yours
Smile widely at a sullen face, and watch it
Magically transform into a smile, too
If it doesn't, never lose yours
A smile is a wondrous thing; try it more often
You'll see that you feel better about yourself
Smile and take the wind out the sails
Of someone making your life a chore
Flash those pearly whites
And people will likely do the same
Not to mention, they will treat you
As though you're a friend, or a neighbor
A smile puts one in a better frame of mind
It's a wondrous thing, indeed
