The Woman In Me
She an untamed beast, you hide
-is the queen in her wilderness
jumping, running, shouting in her
meadows of dreams.
Her stubborn-ness, you hate
-was rooted along from the hurdle
ways she passed and hugged tight
to the bosom of the earth. The earth
a species like her have the womb
to give birth, the breasts to nurture
the lives and like her she loves to
drench in the lips of rain, embrace
by wind, hug her naked body by
mist and cuddle in the warmth of the snow
