The Wizard Iii

Scattered ashes red and black
Blowing wind inflamed them back
To ground the bird they were created
Heavens heard of all their hatred

The heavens did one wizard sent
To save the phoenix from her fate
The wizard spoke and magic bent
But scattered ash was just the bait

And from the sky the phoenix bent
The flaming beauty from before
Black lightning did the wizard sent
Until the phoenix was no more

The corrupted wizard laughing wild
“What I create I can erase”
His heart was bleeding poison still
“I’ll find one fitting for your place”

Heavens found themselves betrayed
The wizard smiled his job was done
“Even you can’t stop my hate”
And with a flash he was all gone
