The Wizard Ii

Scattered ashes green in slime
Grouping in a scene of crime
To lose themselves they were combined
Heavens heard their silent cries

Again they did one wizard sent
To stop corruption from its spread
The wizard spoke and magic bent
But even that could wake no dead

And from the ash corruption rose
A sparkling green it did appear
His slimy fangs and claws composed
Even wizards knew of fear

The wizard fought despite this power
His magic strong his heart no longer
Corruption sent a poison spark
The light was gone and all was dark

Heavens asked the job well done
The wizard laughed with widened eyes
“Corruption” he said “is all gone”
Though green slime in his heart now lies
