The Witness
The Witness.
Prosecution´s witness
Takes the stand his time to shine
Attention at last
But he can´t help embellishing
What he didn´t really see
Defense turns on him
Makes his report into lies
Witness close to tears
He had only wanted to help
Getting a bad man behind bars.
