The Winning Poem

THE WINNING POEM
When at dusk on the edge of horizon colors appear my pen takes indigo from there, on paper it flows, into etched words my emotions morph, they cascade, carry my poem on the wings of the rippling breeze. In sapphire night the cadence of moonbeam endears, my love drifts on quill of verse, in your ears it whispers the rhythm of lyric pulsating with the beat of my heart, from the start the poetic expression I inscribe is a winner.
