The Winning of a Heart

It is said in the Book of The Wise Ways
Verse xxxviii
“The tapestries of the heart are filled with colour”

How things can be
That stars flow
Stars shine
That you
Can find love
That you can show
All inside
All of me

The Dog roses
Ran wild
In a castle garden
Where kings and queens
Walked amongst scent
and beautiful things

That love can be found
In ways you never knew
For, love exists
Inside of you

When trees glow
The sun is brighter
Heady scent fills the air
Love will come
Love will show

The winning of a heart
In a land of beauty
Of magic
Of colours
Of you
Are entwined
In the magic of me

It is said in the Book of The Wise Ways
Verse xx
“To love another, is the greatest gift”
