The Wingless Butterfly

Such beauty
Has never crossed my eyes,
Yet this problem
I can not see past.

This creature's eyes
Look at me with guilt,
Like a child
Who has committed a fault.

Slowly it crawls 
Into my hands,
It lays and cries
Tears of forgiveness.

Falling asleep
Ever
So
Slow...
