The Winds of Change
Within every life there will be trials and tribulations to overcome
There will be times when it seems the pain is too much to succumb
When you feel all alone and everything seems so strange
You hope for a new beginning within the winds of change
The winds of change can be likened to gentle summer breeze
Or can be like a violent thunderstorm, making you feel unease
When you look deeply within your life and try to rearrange
Is when unexpectedly comes forth the winds of change
Though you may try to fight off these changes in your life
Denying the events that have transpired causing you strife
Within each passing moment, other meetings and exchange
There is no stopping nor disallowing the winds of change
The most constant event in the universe is change everyday
Disavowing change leads to other changes in some strange way
Learn to embrace change within your life, in all that interchange
It’s a fools game to try and stop these wondrous winds of change
