I had the pleasure of being invited to write the feature over at Micheal Todds place for The Spirit Wild Chronicles. I had to pick out a picture of Nyla's and write a poem to it.... based on what I saw and felt..... I will put a link up to the blog here because we also had a question an answer session as well. I am going to try an attempt to put up the poem with the pic here. So what you will be reading is my poem..... along with Nyla's photo, Thank you for reading !!!

The Window
Waiting, Wishing Longing for the day you return to me.
The day is gray but my heart beats in all fascists of color hues of blue so deep like the drops that drip
gentle against the pane........pain.
Come wrap me in your warmth relieve my chilled bones on this cold and blustery day.
I find comfort in your touch the kind that comes like a plush armed chair, laced curtains
pure in white like my memories
It will have to do for now, its days like these that take me to my window
as if me staring without a blink will somehow bring you home, a girls wish
for the magic of childhood and the clarity in rain and windows and hope..........
