The wind whispers its secrets In the dark and moonless night As the tree limbs sway to say Please bring back our sun and light. The wind says hush- do not fight. I sweep debris from your leaves Brush your bark till it is clean So the sun can start anew Polish up your morning scene To velvety, verdant green.
