The Wind Whispers

The wind whispers its secrets
In the dark and moonless night
As the tree limbs sway to say
Please bring back our sun and light.
The wind says hush- do not fight.

I sweep debris from your leaves
Brush your bark till it is clean
So the sun can start anew
Polish up your morning scene
To velvety, verdant green.
