The Wind Nursery Rhyme
I am the wind outside your door.
I’ll take your kite and make it soar.
I dry the land after it rains.
I’ll lift the wings of each toy plane.
The clouds will put me in my place.
I push the sailboats as they race.
I make the windmill spin around.
You can’t see me, but you’ll hear my sound.
An open window will let me in.
I’ll see your mobile and make it spin.
If your room is hot, I’ll come to call.
I’ll cool you down so you won’t bawl.
I’m sent by Jesus, so don’t be sad.
I’ll help you play with Mom and Dad.
If I’m not heard I’ll be back soon.
Till then I’ll rest in each balloon.
