The Wind

The wind it blows across the sea
        And all around the sky
The wind it blows to hold you close
And be there by your side

The wind it blows around the trees
        And touches every curve
The wind will sing the softest songs
        So you'll hear every word

The wind will sometimes bring the clouds
        And sometimes brings the rain
The wind it only brings these clouds
        For rainbows on the plains

  Sometimes when you stand alone
        You'll feel a breeze within
If this breeze does bring the clouds
Then let me be the wind

I really like this poem about the wind. It flows very well and is inspirational. I like how the title flows throughout the poem and is reinforced with repetition. This poem flows as soft as the winds and is uplifting as the wind uplifts a kite in flight. Great job! ~Joseph

Lovely. Sweet and serene all at the same time. I like the last line, it took my breath away!! And thank you for commenting on lover's lament. Peace Fathima
