The White Rose
I savor the fragrance of the white
Rose
The beauty exquisite, bold yet,
Daring, gentle
It stands silent amongst all other
Roses
It glistens in the evening of the
Setting sun
His face is steady wide and true
As it kisses the gentle rain
Covering each petal with a kiss
Silently it close its wanton eyes
As each petal falls one by one
Dark brown it crumples and
Lay beneath the garden floor
Soon to find its way to a new
Beginning...
