The White Beast
Oh how splendid is the beauty of the arctic
With us the white beasts ruling the polar ever
Prettiest of all bears, we look fair to all eyes
But the fur which we wrap reflects light within,
And thats how you see us as white as a dew...
We blend with the nature and take the hue at ease -
To hide and watch the prey for a chase...
We wear a cloak inside and that's our skin in dark -
To sock the suns rays and to keep us warm...
We love to swim but not quick to hunt,
We watch over the ice and wait for the seals...
We have a keen smell to sense the prey at far,
The instant it kiss the ice... gulp! Its in our mouth!
We are the largest carnivore ever to live on land...
Who can beat us and destroy us the least!
But if the ice melts and the arctic fades,
How can we suppress the call of appetite,
How can we hunt and feed our little cubs -
Deep inside the beast a fear sprouted though...
