The Whisper

Everybody has eyes to see What they want to believe The sky is blue if you want it to be Everyone has a soul some weep Some take a leap of faith Some souls climb mountains some hide some are overwhelmed with doubts some get lost in a chaos of Jesus driving out the money changers from the Temple But here we have Elijah who stood on the mountain waiting to meet God but first came a wind tearing the mountain apart but God did not appear followed by an earthquake that made Elijah shake and then a wild fire yet In this violence & chaos God did not show Himself to Elijah but know this Then came an uneasy silence and a whisper “Elijah” Frank Black Blacharczyk 1 Kings 19:11-18
