The Weird Wild World
The weird wild world I wrote the world,
Formed mountains Recruited girls:
They be my daughters And they cried rivers,
Boys came from words and fought in numbers;
I Inhaled carbon dioxide and exhaled oxygen-
The vapor formed atmospheres,
Later transform to clouds:
Rain drops falling down;
Cousins never visited
so the valleys Turned into ice,
Oceans wide and blue skies- Mashed u,
Mountains and hills high- piled up.
Slithering snakes and barking dogs
Roaring lions and flying birds,
The animated world and the inanimate of my ideas
Fellas grow in numbers and no space
for chairs Just the round table-
dinned by rich folks and food eaten by poor people,
Welcome to the house of leagues and elites
The family: the great brother hood and the beautiful sisters,
Children going to school
Animals as pets looked after by natives,
The past as history and the future as an idea
Took time to process the system,
Lived long to see my dreams assemble!
Walked for miles in the dry deserts
And ate a feast with my brothers:
After the fun and laughter-
I realized it was just a mirage,
Escaped the jungle to being trapped in an illusion,
Created by dancing monkeys and singing cats
Dressed up gorilla's and hungry lions;
Stalked by vultures and mocked by hyenas,
I took a deep breath and marched out of the arena!
Crowds cheering and hooting;
whistles calling To noticing the audience as clowns,
And laughing not cheering!
The curtains close and my eyes shut
I withdraw and slumber once more.
