The Weekend

The Weekend
The sun shines bright lighting up the weekend
Loading our stuff and making our way to home
Trying to sleep with my neck at a slight bend
Was a pain on the neck bone
Arrived and waltz inside to the main hall
Spots a staircase shaped in a spiral
With the ceiling so tall
We stare at the chandelier for a while
As the night arrives
We slide downstairs with comfortable clothing
Hearing the movement of working knives
And also the hungry stomachs rumbling
As the time of slumber nears
The end of day 1 finishes with sighs
Even though we're with our peers
It’s time to close our eyes
Day 2 has now shown its face
It's time to win the race
To be first for the breakfast line
and to eat like a gluttonous swine
We challenge our leader to their game
Silence was the name
Pure silence for an hour
Sadly some did not have the will power
Now it was time to go outside
making our way up the mountain with large strides
Coming down the mountain like Sonic
Finally coming out to vomit
Coming to this camp was fun
except for the vomit after the run
Sadly we have to leave here
But there's always next year
