The Wedding Ring

We have the fingers – Let’s knot
I had memorized each word of the vows, Till death do us apart- I do, My thoughts were on one thing, A helper I was going to get Splendor of beauty and fairness My heart was racing, I couldn’t think straight, I wanted everything to go faster, She had promised me a lot, I wanted to find out all, She had repaired my broken walls And pledged herself whole She was led down the aisle, My eyes were pinned on her, She looked at me and smiled, My soul lipped within, Every eye couldn't blink All i did was take a breath The priest said a lot I remember none The rings were brought I had bought them earlier alone, I knew her finger size so i went alone, I had guessed right the engagement ring, I was sure of the wedding ring too, I made my vows, Put a ring in her finger, It couldn’t fit, I pushed hard, It couldn’t, I started to sweat, She knew what was wrong, I pushed it harder, She laughed, The priest smiled, My face turned red, The priest realized so he shouted, You can kiss the bride, I didn’t want all to go wrong I bent down, held her close Kissed the ring into her soul To the Vena Amoris of the soul We were declared Husband and wife
