The Web

A girl, torn by life's heavy hand,
Mind speaks true, heart's demand.
Her head's clear voice, a rational plea,
Her heart's deep wish, to just be free.
Both sides, a truth within the strife,
Choosing between a balanced life.
One leads to sense, the other to soul,
Neither, alone, can make her whole.
The story complete, with joy and pain,
A delicate choice, that will remain.
For every piece of happiness, there's also a piece of unhappiness. If you haven't told both sides, you haven't told the whole story and in all things stay the same.
