The Weather People Are Not Following the Script

I'd like you all to keep this under your hat It's a real mild winter where we're at Grass is showing in the park cross the way The sun is shining almost every day Something's got crossed but complaining I'm not Last winter was ugly it's surely a plot The weather people are not following the script Maybe they should all be repeatedly whipped Till they beg for mercy down on their knees For confusing us locals, trying to please We'd rather you tell us the weather will be fine Then we can blame you when the sun don't shine Your job, you can have it, it's a no-win situation Predicting the weather for someone's vacation It's really a gamble, just bite your tongue The odds are great, you're going to get stung © Jack Ellison 2014

First of all, your output is incredible! I have a lot to catch up on, and I'm pretty sure I will always be trying to catch up, hee hee. No matter, I enjoy reading your work very much. I have no need for the weather channel here in California. Its mostly sunny all year. I do enjoy the rain in the winter though. You've got some very memorable lines in this one! Keep it up! Always, Laura

Perhaps the weather men should have St. Jude as their Patron Saint, Just like Dragon. The Saint for Lost Causes. Tho the weathermen HAVE been accurate. Perhaps they're helping the fates string their weave on their looms. Maybe I should do that for Dragon. NAW! Where's the fun in that! I'm writting a poem where Dragon enters the Army to be with Casey... Poor Dragon... He's to young and just not Army material! I'll finish it a bit more and put it up next week... (Enjoy the sun, we are too.)

I'll be a-waitin'! I don't envy these weather people's job! When they're right, so what... when they're wrong, everybody jumps on them!!! No thanks XX
