The Weakest Don'T Survive
She's been broken and confused,
Torn apart and left bruised
Let alone on her knees
She's been called weak,
Tears until she couldn't speak
She's lost herself once or twice
Was told the weaker can't survive,
Though still she won't leave her heart there to die
She believes it's a matter of time before she does something right
She wears her baggy shirts and her jeans just a little too tight
When everyone is asleep at night,
She lies awake crying herself to sleep
They say the journey only gets tougher,
Though she wonders just how much she can endure
She's tried her hardest,
Even though it's never been good enough
She's finally face to face with her struggles,
Getting through after all is only half of the battle
