The Way of Greatness
the memory will not fade
though it has been many years
the great pains were taken well
I might think it just a dream
Then being pinched feel it not
I felt it more like a kick
one gets when one might need it
for the learnings fast and good
when the truth is driven home
and there is left no question
for pain is the partnership
that lifts one up to greatness.
and leaves no room for error
