The Way Back

i glaze into the mirror
here's what I see an
image that reminds me
of a broken sad version
of myself it pain's me
to know the outside
matches the way i feel
deep inside I thought
I was a better magician
but my slight of face
needs work because it's
not hard to read every tell
if you only knew the damage
you left behind it's been
a long journey trying to
pick up every little piece of my
heart that you chipped away
at for the past 5 years
