Very unique description. Love the concept of a "watery sun" causing the ice to turn to rain. As much as I love snow and rain, sleet I can live without. Wonderful haiku, my friend. Love, Carolyn

This is a superb write Jack! I really enjoyed it!! The two parts are separated enough for that good punch at the end, Awesome!! Beautifully done!!
