The Waterfall
The Waterfall
From whispering voids in darkened caverns made,
A million shining spirits and a million more
Dancing phantoms in playful flow cascade
In sparkling chaos to the valley floor.
With singing voice in reckless rapture call
A choir of tumbling laughing sprites
Plunge in splendid anarchy to their rocky pool,
And, in loud chorus of delight
Invite us to their tempting waters deep.
Siren voices in the dampened air,
“Ride the white road with us,
Join us - if you dare.”
