The warn of the horn

Sound of a horn
A signal to warn
The incoming of a violent storm

People gather their stuff
It's going to get rough
Enough know it's going to get tough

Preparation of the whole town
Safety first, they bunker down
It rages in with a bellowing sound

Lighting, thunder, destructive winds
Hail, rain, it all brings
Not even God can save you from your sins

Through the night, they hold tight
They fight the good fight
Battle the dark in the hope to see light

Flooding down the lane
From the torrential heavy rain
In their brain, thoughts retain, a hurricane

Innocent or wicked have no rest
Every living soul put to the test
Nature shows what it really does best

It steam rolled through
There was nothing they could do
I can say they were brave, I tell you

Quick as it came, it then goes
Act of higher being who knows
Destruction of what is left still shows

All I can say
There were tears in the fray
Everything they had was taken away

Strength in numbers they rebuild
Their hearts beign to be refilled
The majority of the town is good willed

Today generations pass stories of the horn
Try to educate, try to warn
The day of their deadliest storm
