The Wandering

Wandering with the wind Blowing me with the tall grasses I walk Settling upon the blue asters Resting my soul on a bench Among the voices around me Birds, frogs, geese No money in sight or sound Oppression part of no vocabulary In woods or prairies Just the joy of homemade applesauce And herbs Gathered in the wild Nurturing life Everywhere the wind lives Everywhere The Wind Lives 9/24/12

Nature has no concern for our trivial concerns and when we let it, nature can blow those cares away. I really enjoyed this piece.

A very intriguing poem... loved the wind. It adds a moving and almost echoing to the poem. Loved it.

If we could all remember to take the time to just listen to the sights and sounds...the wind carries her voices with sweet melody...enjoyed this peaceful poem.
