The Wall Between Us

The Wall Between Us

There is a wall between us,
That has thicken over time,
Our struggles and our heartaches,
More difficult by the ties that bind!

At times we’ve walked on different paths,
And our focus not always the same,
You know I’ve always looked up to you,
Never shamed or placing blame!

Please help me my friend, to help you,
Break through this self-made wall,
Give me the key to unlock your heart,
You know I’m in it, for the long haul!
