The Waking Dream's Slumber

Slowly I’m falling
But what do I see?
For the first time in forever
I see you and me.
I’m tired of living
A life without you
I’m tired of giving
When that’s all I do

In my mind I see darkness
In the heart once called mine
In my mind I feel sadness
For this world is unkind
I can’t stand to see you
With anyone but me
But I know this won’t happen
Because I’ve already set you free.

This can’t be the end
Of everything we were
This is the beginning
But of what I’m unsure.
