The Vomit Comet

We embarked upon a voyage across the stormy Irish sea The ship’s known as the ‘vomit comet’ please don’t throw up if you sit next to me! I can cope with dirty diapers and don’t baulk at the sight of blood but when it comes to dealing with vomit I’ll confess that I’m no bloody good! Written after a short break in the UK 9/24/18

The HMS MV Discovery was or is a glass bottom boat visiting coral reefs. The smell of puke and diesel is a bit much. The crew was prepared that day and passed our vomit bags. Not only that—the water was too rough to allow positioning over the reef. Ugh!!

I had to deal with that when pssgrs got airsick. I gave them lime wedges to eat and it saved many a passenger from getting ill including me. Loved your clever and true poem! : )

Yikes. Your poem reminded me of how sea sick I get even on short boat outings.

This is great. We took the children fishing once out on our boat and they were all sick except for one. I guess we should of named it some thing besides Gone Wishing. Lol. This was a really nice easy read with lots of imagery.
