The voice of a man who cries in silence

When I walk outside, I appear strong, But behind the façade, pains unbreakable. When I smile and seem happy, too, Behind is the mask I do wear, unspoken pains accrue. These are the burdens we bear alone as men, Pains we must endure and cross we must bear, but never speak of them. For in the silence, we suffer alone, And our cries for help are left unspoken.

A heartfelt poem. Boys are always taught men don't cry I have always told my 3 sons it's ok for men to cry Crying isn't a sign of weakness it's a sign of strength. Never be afraid to show how you feel. It's ok for men to cry too. I wrote a poem title big boys don't cry For my sons. I never let anyone tell mine bug boys do not cry I'm sure someone will always listen
