The Violin

I can’t believe that you are mine
now I can practice every day.
My heart does with your strings entwine 
I can’t believe that you are mine.
Today I’m floating on cloud nine
and this is where my heart will stay,
I can’t believe that you are mine
now I can practice every day.

Today I played with all my heart
then teacher laid you in my arms.
I know that we will never part
today I played with all my heart,
which got me into Juilliard.
We wooed them all with magic charms,
today I played with all my heart
then teacher laid you in my arms.
